We’d heard a lot of great things about Chiang Mai on our travels thus far. This mountainous hub of Northern Thailand is the country’s cultural capital, and also a popular place for expats and so-called digital nomads to settle down. So after all the chaos of Bangkok, not only were we looking forward to a [...]
Hey guys, Here's my latest song encapsulating our time in Italy. I wrote it after a great evening spent listening to a string quartet in the cliff-top town of Ravello. The song was inspired by the Italians' ability to let go and focus on the positive/beautiful things in life, despite all the craziness around us. The [...]
If Italy was all about la dolce vita, then our time in France can similarly be described as full of joie de vivre: the French expression referring to the cheerful enjoyment of life through whatever means one prefers. Henri Matisse, one of a generation of artists who made the Côte d’Azur their home, once said “When I realized that each morning I would see this light again, I could not believe my luck.” And so we followed his lead….making this gorgeous strip of land our home for two weeks.
The much anticipated release of my Sweden track is finally here. This song takes inspiration from the land of pop music and the celebrations of the Swedish Midsummer, a holiday we arrived just in time for. The song begins with a toast recorded during a Midsummer lunch with new friends, and continues on with an uplifting [...]

So, when planning our route from Norway to Italy, I convinced G to let us spend 5 days in Prague. With plenty of recommendations in hand, we set out to make our way through this beautiful – though somewhat gritty – city. We were not disappointed.
We spent 5 days in Stockholm, Sweden’s beautiful capital, built on 14 islands. Stockholm is certainly not lacking in reasons to visit: a stunning waterfront facade, one of the cleanest and most efficient transit systems, a much-admired sense of style, a vibrant food culture, a slew of pop music exports, and the list goes on...
Here's a track inspired by our most recent adventure. Our journey through Iceland was eye opening in many ways, but one of the highlights was visiting the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon - situated at the head of the rapidly melting Breiðamerkurjökull glacier - and experiencing the icebergs breaking off into the ocean. For this song, I sampled the crashing sound created by a glacier/iceberg melting, along with an iconic Icelandic vocalist as an ode to a rapidly dwindling glacier, climate change, and the rugged beauty of Iceland.
